We are looking for highly motivated, experienced Estimator to join our team. Individual will be responsible for provide estimating services and oversee activities for large-scale roofing projects. This includes estimate labor, materials, time requirements, and other factors that contribute to the overall cost of the project. Ideal candidate should have experience with the Edge estimating software, working knowledge of blueprints, construction drawings, materials and other specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Acquire Profitable Work: Generate detailed cost estimates for job opportunities with budgeted revenue to acquire profitable work.
• Cultivate Client Relations: Maintain client base and increase market share with new client growth through building relationships with general contractors.
• Scout Opportunities: Scout job opportunities on various roofing/construction online platforms to meet monthly profit and bid goals by providing competitive bids. Attend Pre- bid job meetings when needed to collect more information about the job specific so that you ensure bids meet the necessary requirements and contains the requested information.
• Produce Competitive Bids/Proposals: Create bids/proposals with accurate and detailed scope of work, job specific notes, needed clarifications and company required clauses and clear pricing. Present the bids to the customer during the bidding process to ensure that BDR meets the deadline for bid submittals and answer any questions about the proposal.
• Direct Material Order: Ensure materials are ordered based on the cost estimated in the bid as staying within the estimate per the set budget in the bid. This attention to details ensures that the job stays on budget and within the allotted job date completion.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must have 2+ years commercial roofing estimating experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team as well as potential and existing customers.
• Must have excellent organizational skills.
• Able to multi-task and work in fast paced environment.
• Solid background in roofing understanding of different types of roofs, manufacturers and warranties.
• The ability to read blueprints.
• Excellent math skills and ability to read scale for estimating.
• Computer skills specifically in Microsoft Suites.
